RIDER ALERTS

Route G Detour for Friday September 27, 2024

• On Friday 9/27/24 due to construction the Route G will not be servicing the DIA bus stop. Buses will be traveling north on Beekman St from the Beacon RR to Wolcott Ave. We apologize for any inconvenience.

No Bus Service on Columbus Day, Monday, October 14, 2024

• We are closed on Monday, October 14, in observance of Columbus Day.  

Route Modifications Update

• Dutchess County Public Transit’s proposed route modifications have been postponed until January 2025 as we continue to review public input and the potential impacts on riders and our community to make final route adjustments.  Updates will be announced as routes are finalized and a new starting date is determined. 

DCC Students Ride FREE! 

• Effective August, 2024, through May 31, 2025, Dutchess Community College Students carrying a valid 2024/25 Student I.D. will be permitted to ride any of the regularly scheduled routes on Dutchess County Public Transportation for free. 

Seatbelts are available on almost all Dutchess County Public Transit (DCPT) buses.

• DCPT believes seatbelts can prevent injuries and encourages their use while riding seated when the bus is in motion.

Dutchess County Public Transit recommends that children under 12 years old be accompanied by an adult.
